Chateauneuf du Pape AOC Clos du Roi

Crafted at the historic Chateau Gigognan in the heart of the southern Rhone, this Chateauneuf du Pape blends Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre grown on iconic galets roulés. The wine opens with notes of kirsch, dark plum, garrigue and sweet liquorice, supported by velvety tannins and an enveloping warmth from the southern sun. Fermentation is conducted plot by plot, with maturation in large oak foudres preserving fruit purity while adding gentle structure. The result is a wine of generosity and depth, drinking beautifully now but rewarding another decade in the cellar.
